Please follow these step by step instructions to get your computer ready to view Rugby Times online. You will be able to test that everything is working before signing up for a paid subscription.

Step 1

You will first need to download a free Web Browser plug-in to enable you to view the online edition on your computer. To download the Windows version, click this link and when prompted, select the option to save this file to your computer. If you have a Mac computer rather than Windows, the browser plug-in is available for Mac OS X only and can be downloaded here.

Step 2

Next, you need to install the plug-in you just downloaded onto your computer. On a Windows computer you can usually do this simply by double-clicking on the downloaded file and following the on-screen instructions.

Step 3

Once the plug-in has been installed click the link below for a free sample edition of Rugby Times. You should see the sample copy open up on your screen without any problem. A navigation bar should also now be visible at the top of your screen just above the cover of the sample edition. Use the back/forward arrows to navigate through the different pages, and the +/- buttons to increase or decrease each page in size to make it easier to read.

Step 4

If you cannot see the free sample edition after installing the plug-in, or have received any kind of error/warning message in your web browser which prevents you from viewing the free sample, try using an alternative web browser. We recommend Firefox which can be downloaded free of charge by clicking here.

Step 5

Once you have managed to successfully view the free sample edition, you are ready to go ahead and subscribe to the regular edition of Rugby Times if you like what you've seen so far. The latest edition is available online no later than 10am on the Friday of publication. The archive of back issues goes back to September 2005.
